Volunteers

At Willoughby we provide a range of opportunities for young people, trainee teachers and other volunteers wishing to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of children with disabilities and special needs. We are delighted to welcome enthusiastic and hardworking volunteers, as we know they bring with them a range of skills and experience that can enhance the learning opportunities of our children.

The Priory Trust undertake an individual risk assessment for everyone working with us. Volunteers are also required to have a Disclosure & Baring Service check (DBS). This helps us to make safer recruitment decisions and prevents unsuitable people from working with children. The check will determine whether you have any criminal charges against you, especially those relating to children.
